If you haven't felt burnout in your work, then congratulations, you are in the right place for you! 🚀
Burnout is a common experience for humans. If a person doesn't feel it, then we might think that person might have superpowers or must be an alien right?😮💨
There was a social experiment conducted by researchers from the Department of Psychology at a leading university in the United States.
A bunch of employees were divided into 2 groups, with one group asked to work as flexibly as they needed and the other with traditional structures.
Over a period of three months, data on well-being indicators such as stress levels, job satisfaction, and work-life balance were collected from both groups, and it isn't a surprise that the flexible group performed better.
What was surprising is that, it is just an average of both the groups.
There were people from the first group feeling overwhelmed and people from the second group who felt super energetic!
So at the right places, you never feel burnout even if it is really burning the whole of you out, and when you don't belong somewhere, then it feels overwhelming even when there wasn't even anything to work on. 🕵♀️
It is not that you aren't capable of doing things, but it is that you are not in the right place.
So if you are in the second category, then it's time to quit and find your place! If you are in the first, then just relax and get a proper work-life balance so that you can contribute better!
It doesn't necessarily apply to work life alone but also to your friendships, relationships, the university you study at, the gym you go to, and wherever you feel this. 🙌
