The first thing I heard about the Think Digital community was, "They make an impact on college students." At the time, I had no idea what that meant, but my curiosity was piqued, and I wanted to learn more. That's when I met G.Surendar Thina, the founder, who explained, "TD aims to bridge the gap between college students and the real industry." At that point, all that was running through my mind was, “How can I be part of this impact?”

So, I took the plunge as a volunteer,then led the events team, dabbled in community building, and now—drum roll—I’m the Community Manager and part of the core team! Our goal is to give students a “parallel experience” alongside their academic journey while helping them build their INEA. TD has played a pivotal role in shifting my mindset, reshaping the way I view my career, and redefining what "impact" truly means. Honestly, it has turned me into a completely new version of myself, I didn’t even know I could be!! (in the best possible way, of course).

S.M.I.L.E.Y India was the first place I ventured outside my comfort zone—and, somehow, it managed to create a whole new comfort zone for me, one where I can work, think, and be totally free!

Even though I’m a certified workaholic, Smiley’s magic made room for creativity and independent thought, all while still getting stuff done. Here, I’m basically the boss of my own tasks, which is both exhilarating and terrifying (in a good way, of course). At the heart of what we do is a commitment to transforming mindsets. We believe in the power of conscious revolution, encouraging our league to dream big and take action to bring about change.

for our anti-sexual harassment project, where we’re making waves and impacting 500+ young minds.

I’m also a certified mentor with the League of Mentors — basically, I’m on a mission to create mentors who will, in turn, create more mentors. Our latest venture, Maanavan, tackles social and political issues, empowering the youth to think critically and — yes — make change happen..

Project Ascend is all about giving young minds the freedom to soar. We believe education is the highest form of freedom, and by nurturing their curiosity and passion for learning, we’re helping kids dream bigger than their school desks and shape futures that are as bright as their imaginations.

Our Unique Approach:

We're Mentors with a Purpose - To ignite a love for learning, spark curiosity, and make sure kids don't just memorize — they understand. We want them to dream big, imagine a future that excites them, and become future leaders who bring positive change to their communities.

Right now, we’re working in Kallukuttai, an unnotified slum area near OMR, where over 50 kids show up regularly, full of energy, curiosity  and all their questions (we swear, sometimes we feel like we’re running a Q&A session with Google). And we’re just getting started—we’re ready to expand our reach and amplify our impact, creating brighter futures for even more children.
